Empowering undocumented young people to achieve educational and career goals

"INVEST IN THE DREAM" INITIATIVE
2016 GRANTEES

In 2016, the third year of Invest in the Dream, E4FC will support another diverse group of non-profit organizations that offer scholarships and other support to undocumented students. Six of the grants are renewals and five are first-time awards. Some of the grantee organizations are led by undocumented young people while others are led by committed allies.

Each of the 11 grantees has secured an equal amount of funds from other local sources to match the E4FC grant. Grantees will use these funds to support undocumented students attending accredited, non-profit, two-year and four-year colleges and universities in the United States.

These eleven organizations understand the challenges that undocumented students face, recognize the tremendous potential they represent, and will use our grants to leverage additional support for undocumented students. All of them offer a variety of other supports, in addition to financial aid, to help undocumented students pursue and complete college degrees.

We hope this initiative will encourage other scholarship providers to deepen their investment in this talented and determined group of young people.
